Zippora BML Siregar, SH, MH

Zippora is a law graduate of the University of Indonesia's prestigious law school, achieving her Legal Law Bachelor's (SH) in 1996 with specialization in civil law. Upon gaining experience as an associate at a law firm, she went on to complete her Master's of Law in 2004 with specialization in corporate and business law.

Zippora is fully licensed to represent clients and appear in the courts of the Republic of Indonesia and registered as capital market lawyer in Indonesian Financial Authority Services (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan).

Zippora began her career at one of Indonesia’s largest and prestigious law firm Lubis Ganie Surowidjojo in 1996, where she worked the ranks all the way to Senior Associate. After gaining nine years of invaluable experience, she joined prestigious law firm of Melli Darsa & Co., for which two years later she became the law firm's Partner in 2007.

Zippora assisted Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Vice Minister of Finance and Head of Investment Coordinating Board in their capacities as Members of Supervisory Committee (Komisi Pengawas) of Satuan Kerja Khusus Pelaksana Kegiatan Usaha Hulu Minyak dan Gas Bumi (SKK Migas) in performing their roles and providing legal assistance on the governance aspects also providing advice on certain issues related to the oil & gas sector during years 2013 up to 2016.

Zippora's specialized practice areas are Banking & Corporate Finance, Project Finance, Acquisition Finance, Infrastructure Project, Debt Restructuring, Acquisition, Mining, Oil & Gas, Corporate Governance, Bankruptcy and Venture Capital. In addition thereto, Zippora also handled numerous Capital Markets' and Securities' transactions, including provided legal advice on the Capital Market issues and the Capital Markets aspects of financing and acquisition transactions.

Today Zippora together with her long time career colleague Cindy Djojonegoro, has founded the law firm Siregar & Djojonegoro to take up the demands of new challenges in the dynamic business changes of the ever growing Indonesian economy.

Cindy Djojonegoro, SH, JSM

Cindy is a law graduate of the University of Indonesia's prestigious law school, achieving her Indonesian Legal Law Bachelor's (SH) in 1994 with specialization in business law. Thereafter she studied at the Stanford Law School and received the Juris Science Master's (JSM) in 1997, where she wrote her dissertation on Project Financing with emphasis on Legal and Economic Viabilities on Toll Road Projects in Indonesia. During her time at Stanford, Cindy gave several talks about Project Finance at Stanford University, University of Hong Kong and University of Indonesia on numerous occasions. Between 1994 and 2002, Cindy was an Assistant Professor at the University of Indonesia.

Professionally Cindy is skilled in the legal matters of infrastructure projects such as toll roads, power plants, water supply, harbors and airports, but also equally well in mergers & acquisition, general corporate, debt restructuring and bankruptcy. She has extensively gained these experiences as an associate at Lubis Ganie Surowidjojo (1994-2002), one of Indonesia's largest and prestigious law firms.

Since 2003 Cindy has been advising and providing assistance to state owned enterprises in dealing with investors, as well as providing assistance and contributing to the drafting of regulations for the telecommunications sector. In addition Cindy has also advised various legal entities and companies advised on corporate governance, complex transactions, its relevant structured negotiations, as well as the implementation of necessary corporate restructurings.
